The EL-3000 is a true long range IR camera. Unlike most long range IR cameras that claim to see 100-200 feet. The EL-3000 will see 250-300 feet in zero light. With its intelligent compensation program the EL-3000 will eliminate IR saturation from closer viewed or larger objects. This camera utilizes the newer SS (spread spectrum) series IR illuminators that provide a broad horizontal range. These IR’s are 5 times as powerful as the standard illuminator used by most companies. It also utilizes a 9mm-22mm varifocal auto-iris lens with external adjustments. The camera comes with an external remote for configuring the camera’s OSD (on screen display). This is a true day/night camera with a mechanical shutter as well as DSS. The EL-3000 has a unique mounting system that allows you to mount the bracket first and then the camera body once the bracket is in its correct place. This makes installation, maintenance, and service much simpler.
